Hitachi Yungtay Elevator Advances Labor-Management Collaboration with Collective Agreement to Strengthen Corporate Sustainability

Hitachi Yungtay Elevator Co., Ltd. (“Hitachi Yungtay”) held a signing ceremony for a collective agreement with its enterprise union on April 10 in Taoyuan. Witnessed by Taoyuan Mayor Chang San-cheng and Director-General Wang Hou-Wei of the Department of Labor Relations, Ministry of Labor, Chairman Koguchi Tatsuhiko and union representatives officially signed the new agreement, marking a new milestone in labor-management collaboration.

Chairman Koguchi emphasized that employees are the company’s most valuable asset. With 60 years of presence in Taiwan, every elevator operating in urban buildings represents the public’s trust in safety. He noted that the company’s steady growth and world-class product quality are built upon harmonious labor relations and professional expertise. He also expressed appreciation for the support from the city government and the union, enabling the company to grow together with more than 2,000 employees across Taiwan under a well-established institutional framework.
