Energy Feedback Device
The Energy Feedback Device makes it possible to apply the regenerated electricity resulted from various generator statuses (e.g., zero-load scending or full-load descending) to the electrical network of those buildings. Also, when regenerative drive device applying the regenerated electricity, the power factor will increase, and the current waves of high-order harmonics will decrease. It makes it possible to feedback the clean energy as well as to achieve the efficiency of green energy.

When the elevator is going down with a heavy and light load, the elevator motor automatically converts the gravitational potential energy difference between the counterweight and the car into electrical energy output.
Wasting Energy
The additional electrical energy generated by the motor without installing the Energy Feedback device will be directed to the resistance box in the machine room and converted into heat energy to be consumed, resulting in a waste of energy.
Increase Maintenance Cost
The heating resistor will cause the temperature inside the machine room to rise, thereby reducing the mechanical operation efficiency and durability of the parts. Moreover, the machine room needs to be equipped with additional cooling facilities, such as air conditioners, to lower the temperature inside, and maintenance costs increase.

After installing the Energy Feedback device, the elevator can recover the extra electrical energy generated while traveling down with a heavy load and traveling up with a light load.

The clean, regenerated electrical energy is fed back into the building‘s power grid for daily use of the electrical equipment. Working with YUNGTAY PM gearless traction machine, the Energy Feedback device enables the elevator to save up to 50% of energy consumption.
When the counterweight of the elevator is similar to the total weight of the carriage, the electricity consumption cost is less.
