Brake Force Detection System

煞車力自動偵測

YUNGTAY Safety Technology Invention Patent. The preset schedule automatically tests the braking force of the motor engine every day. When the braking force becomes weakened, a warning code is automatically issued to notify the maintenance personnel for early prevention. When the braking force is insufficient, the system will generate a fault code reporting to the YUNGTAY service center arranging maintenance personnel for maintenance to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of the brakes.

Patented Safety Technology

Two-Stage Brake Force Detect

When the elevator is not in use, the system will actively test the stability of the braking force of the main engine (checked once a day by schedule). The system applies a two-stage test during the detection process, generating a large and small torque to the engine motor to test the brake force.

Weakened Brake Force

First, the system applies a large moment force to the motor engine. Then, suppose the motor engine rotates slightly, indicating that the braking force is somewhat deficient. Since the degree of insufficient braking force is within the normal range, the elevator can still function normally. Meanwhile, the system will automatically generate a fault code to remind maintenance personnel to prevent in advance.

Insufficient Brake Force

Secondly, the system applies a small moment force to the engine motor. If the engine motor is still rotating indicates that the braking force is seriously insufficient. The operating system will shut down immediately, and the elevator can resume regular operation only after the maintenance personnel clears the fault. Meanwhile, the IoT of the YUNGTAY elevator will automatically inform the YUNGTAY service center to send personnel for maintenance.

YUNGTAY Internet of Things installed in the control cabinet of the machine room.

YUNGTAY Service Center monitors the operation status of elevators throughout Taiwan in real-time around the clock.

"Brake Force Detection System" and "Self-Rescue System for Car Slipping" prevent elevator accidents caused by insufficient braking force.
