On May 30, 2022, with the approval of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Yungtay Engineering Co., Ltd. officially changed its name to Hitachi Yungtay Elevator Co., Ltd., and continues to serve new and old customers throughout Taiwan. The management team of Hitachi Yungtay Elevator remains unchanged with better service, extensive resources and more diverse products. We always keep the original intention with one step ahead to consider and meet customer needs, and formulate customized vertical mobility solutions, and contribute to intelligent, humanized and sustainable building space and improvement of the quality of life.
After the name change, Hitachi Yungtay Elevator will continue to provide the Yungtay brand, which is popular in the Taiwan market and highly praised by customers. We also plan to introduce more Hitachi technologies and products, including Hitachi high-speed elevator products and digital technology. As early as 1968, Hitachi developed the elevator with the highest speed in Japan at that time – 300 meters per minute, and used it in the Kasumigaseki Building, the first super high-rise building in Japan. Since then, Hitachi Elevator has continued to surpass itself in the field of elevator technology, and built a high-speed elevator product with a top speed of 1,260 m/min, which won the world’s fastest elevator record in 2019. At present, Hitachi high-speed elevator series are also widely used in global commercial buildings.
Safe and secure, comfortable ride, human-machine communication
Hitachi Yungtay Elevator provides a variety of options, including automatic air purification system, intelligent sensing sterilization system, voice-activated gesture or APP ride system, and energy feedback device, which make the elevator riding more comfortable. At the same time, we also use the Internet of Things (IoT) and related security patented technologies to achieve the goals of safe and secure human-machine communication.
Hitachi and Yungtay have worked together in Taiwan for more than 50 years with excellent maintenance and R&D teams, making Hitachi Yungtay Elevator a leader in the elevator market. In the future, it will adhere to the original spirits of best technology, best quality, and best service, and will effectively use operational technology (OT), advanced information technology (IT) and high-performance products to create positive social, environmental, and economic value, and provide better products and services in Taiwan.
