Earthquake Emergency Operation
When an earthquake occurs and the acceleration is between 80 gal and 120 gal, with a seismic intensity level of 5 (weak), the system will enter Earthquake Emergency Operation. At the same time, earthquake information will be displayed on the screens of the landing entrance and the car. The elevator will stop at the nearest floor to remind passengers to evacuate, and it will automatically resume normal operation after 60 seconds. If the earthquake is stronger, with an acceleration greater than 120 gal, the elevator will remain in Earthquake Emergency Operation after passengers evacuate. Normal operation can only be restored once maintenance personnel have inspected and confirmed that safety is ensured.
