In April 2022, Yungtay Engineering Co., Ltd. officially became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd. In June of the same year, Mr. Ide Koji came to Taiwan as the new chairman, leading Hitachi Yungtay Elevator to a higher international stage with his own experience and international perspective.
In December last year, Mr. Ide accepted an exclusive interview with ”MY HOUSING Magazine(住展雜誌)”. He talked about how Hitachi Yungtay Elevator responded to the market development trend in the post-epidemic era, launched a smart and energy-saving building solution — “Hitachi Care & Green Service”, customized localized HIT series products for the Taiwan market, and the cooperation model between Taiwan and Japan in the future。After taking office, he will aim to maintain the No. 1 position of Hitachi Yungtay Elevator in the Taiwan market, continue to meet the needs of customers as the first priority, and devote himself to the sustainable development of the environmental, social, and corporate governance(ESG).
