Unintended Car Movement Protection (UCMP)
When the elevator door is open for passengers to exit or enter, the motor brake will be activated immediately to stop the elevator in the event of unexpected movement of the elevator. Only after our professional personnel carries out maintenance inspection to ensure the safety of passengers will the regular operation of the elevator be resumed. This feature eliminates the safety hazard of accidental movement of the elevator when the elevator door is open and protects passengers from accidents.

While the elevator door opens, the elevator moves unexpectedly during the process passengers move in or out. The system will immediately cut off the safety circuit. It also starts the brake from the traction machine to stop the elevator to prevent the car from moving.
Report Malfunction Code
The system will automatically generate a fault code to stop the elevator from operating again. The elevator can resume regular operation only after the maintenance personnel clears the fault.
Automatically Inform
Meanwhile, the IoT of the YUNGTAY elevator will automatically inform the YUNGTAY service center to send personnel for maintenance.

YUNGTAY Service Center monitors the operation status of elevators throughout Taiwan in real-time around the clock.
The words "Out-of-Service" will appear on the hall indicator panel to remind passengers not to board.
